A collaborative project with the Centers for Disease Control
The CDC has partnered with Georgia State University to further it's mission of saving lives and protecting people. The research being conducted has the specific aim of enhancing the CDC's Epi-Info Sofware Suite. Currently, a team of Faculty and Graduate Research Students are exploring new methods to improve Epi-Info's core functionality and prepare the software for future outbreak scenarios.

We aim to prepare Epi-Info for the next generation of global health challenges. This can be accomplished by extending and modernizing it's core functionality, thus making it easier for epidemiologists to quickly collect and analyze large amounts of data.
